I have always thought it would be interesting to do a project about The Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital in Oxford due to my past experiences. I decided not to concentrate on the patients, as I already knew what it was like to be one, but to concentrate on the parents of the patients in the children's ward. What did they do to occupy their time? At least the patients were there for a reason! During one of my operations my parents had seven hours to fill! Sometimes the children were in hospital for a few weeks. What do the parents do to fill the time?
