A wide range of feelings is shown in both the faces of the young mothers as well as their children. The way these young girls hold their babies and present it to the camera, tells the spectator about the many different, often very fragile relationships between these young mothers and their first-born child. This series also opens a view upon nowadays society and the phenomenon of "children having children".
