Students Around HerefordColin Biddle Distortion of colour and shape are used to create a disorienting effect within a forest setting at dusk. The images are produced using a ‘pinhole’ or ‘lens-less’ camera,
which has been customised to give a distorting effect known as ‘anamorphism’.
In essence an anamorph is a deception, drawn or projected on a curved
or flat surface such as a curved vaulted ceiling in a church. Colin Biddle, Cai Broom, Ed Howarth, Ann James, Angela Jones and Holli
Lawrence all students from the second year photography course at Hereford
Collage of Arts are exhibiting around the City in different locations. Colin Biddle Cai Broom Ed Howarth Ann James Angela Jones and Holli Lawrence
