2011 marks the 21st anniversary of Hereford Photography Festival.
The longest running annual photography festival in the UK, Hereford Photography Festival has presented a broad range of international photography since 1990.
Notes to editors:
By combining exhibitions and commissions from contemporary photographers, workshops, innovative artist-led socially engaged projects and opportunities for debate on current issues, Hereford.
Photography Festival aims to promote photography which comments on and raises questions about cultural and social issues, particularly as they affect rural communities.
Hereford Photography Festival shows the work of international, national and regional photographers and photographic artists, including students and amateurs.
HPF has grown year on year to become an important feature on the photographic calendar and for those who enjoy the arts in the West Midlands.
The Festival produces work and tours exhibitions throughout the year. There is also a developed public engagement programme which works with people from around the area – from businesses to schools.
