KayLynn Deveney: Edith and Len

For nine months Edith and Leonard Crawshaw allowed KayLynn Deveney to photograph them in their room at a Welsh nursing home. During this time Edith, Len and KayLynn became close friends. In addition to making photographs KayLynn kept an intimate diary chronicling her time with Edith and Len as well as her changing ideas about ageing and photography.

KayLynn Deveney has worked as a staff photographer on The Albuquerque Tribune for nearly ten years and had one year leave of absence to work in Belfast on an independent photo documentary project.
